Kim has personally transported over 35 of our animals :
Amador, Princesa, Anita, Ashe, Bonito, Beyonce, Carly, Oliva, Dutchess, Tuli, Emma, Pharaoh, Gina, Maya, Paco, Henry, Snow, Zoey, Marty, Max, Pecas, Abrianna, Gail, Honey, Chester, Sidney, Reilly, Limon, Leo, Lucita, Ruben, Romeo, Manny, Dolly, Lucas, Lloydand many more.

Little One's Rescue Group is currently funding for a new transportation vehicle, which will not only help transport animals arriving from Colombia, but many who are in need within the United States. Our goal is to fundraise 2,500 USD in order to help get the animals arriving to states to their forever homes, or transported to the medical care that they deserve. Please help us fundraise for their transportation, and the future transportation of many more!

Romeo

Romeo was received by FRAD from a family that couldn’t take care of him. He had developed a severe eye infection and almost lost his eye. Luckily, Dr. Ingrid saved the eye and Romeo is on the road to a full recovery! However, because Romeo was susceptible to skin infections, he wasn’t doing well in the general population at FRAD. So we managed to get him into a foster care situation and treated the skin condition. He’s still recovering a little, but we are so excited to say that as of this post, he’s in the States in foster care there getting ready for adoption with one of our volunteers and doing wonderfully!!

Bella

On February 6th, CTGP rescued two very small pups. They both were dehydrated and emaciated, and suffered from parasites. Sadly the little male passed away in Maureen’s arms on the way to the clinic, but his sister made it all the way. She wouldn’t leave his side at first. She was named Bella by her sponsor, Lucy. Bella had a very rough time. Gratefully she was heart-worm and distemper free, but she was oh so weak. On February 11 Bella had a particularly bad night and we almost lost her. But she survived and it proved to be her turning point. She’s eating like a champ, putting on weight, and playing like a normal healthy puppy! Bella’s sponsor will also be her new Mommy! Congratulations Bella and Lucy!

UPDATE: We just went back and rescued Bella's three sisters- Charlotte, Eloise, and Harper.  We will share more about these sweet girls in next month's newsletter!

Snickers

While on her vacation, Tina Cooley found and rescued Snickers in Chambacu, Cartagena. He had a
terrible skin infection called mange. Additionally he had an umbilical cord hernia. He was starving,
scared, and like so so many others, completely alone. But oh he could eat! He had some energy and
craved getting love! Unfortunately after his rescue he sustained a dislocated paw bone while at the vet's office. But that was set, he was neutered and his hernia repaired. His skin looks so much better and HE’S GOING HOME! Thank you Meredith Quinn for adopting Snickers! Meredith is also responsible for finding and helping Benito, who is also featured this month.
