Jefe
Jefe was a young kitten who was one of many who were strays at a local school in Cartagena. He would linger around the school grounds looking for scraps. He was one of the most friendly strays on campus which often got him into trouble however. Sometimes he was so bold, that he would wait near the cafeteria doors and sneak in and hop onto the tables and begin eating off the trays! Of course the cafeteria staff did not like this and demanded for his removal.
Our Director, Maureen Cattieu was worried about the ways in which they were going to "dispose" of Jefe, so she set up a trap and captured him. She took him home to her house and presented him to her 2 dogs Ramona and Tica. He was not happy about the situation, however with time he adjusted. Luckily, Cattieu had a patio area and he got to enjoy his time outside. He loved climbing on trees and hanging out with the other neighbor cats. Jefe was officially adopted by Maureen and Luis and now lives with them in Key West, FL.
