Estrellita

Estrellita was rescued from La Boquilla, Colombia. Estrellita was a young puppy who was running around a dirt street all by herself with a stomach full of parasites. Her belly was so big, we knew that if we didn't get her help quick she would surely die. We got her to our vet and did all initial tests and began treatment. She was later spayed and vaccinated. She spent a month in foster until a young woman named Ali was visiting Cartagena reached out to Cartagena Paws about rescuing a dog. Unfortunately, we were unable to rescue the dog that she wanted to help, but she later went to meet Estrellita at the fosters house. A few days later after Ali was back in the States, she reached back out to us about adopting her! Estrellita flew to NYC a month later!
