Cris

Cris was rescued by Maureen Cattieu and Alan de Herrera. Alan is a Photojournalist who was visiting Cartagena. He wanted to do a story on a rescue mission with Cartagena Paws. We took him to La Boquilla and showed him a real life scenario. Cris was a neglected young female dog in need of help. There was no doubt that she had her fair share of suffering, so we scooped her up and got her to the vet. Cris tested positive for Heart-worm and underwent a long treatment. Alan was very helpful and set up fundraisers to help support her treatment. Cris then flew home to Buffalo, NY and was received by Buffalo Cares Animal Rescue so that she could be fostered and later adopted out to a wonderful family!
