Meet Charlotte! Charlotte was one of 4 sisters rescued from Playa Blanca in Cartagena. Charlotte has the sweetest, happiest demeanor... and she really LOVES cats! Every cat she meets, she wants to be her best friend!
After Charlotte was rescued, she spent time in vet care, getting strong. She was incredibly scared of the world and any changes and would cower when strangers came near. It was clear she had NOT had good experiences with people. We felt the best thing for Charlotte was to get her healthy and quickly into foster, where she could experience love and family. When she was ready, she was moved to foster with our founder, Maureen, who fell in love with her and whom she fell in love with as well. Charlotte also fell in love with Maureen's cat, Jefe, and dog, Ramona. The longer she was there, the more comfortable and confident she became. She stopped fearing strangers, and began to show how big her heart was.
Charlotte flew to Buffalo, NY to be with her forever family on May 11, 2018. She is running around in the yard of her dreams and being doted on every day - exactly the happy ending we wanted for this amazing girl.
