Bongo
Bongo was dumped at the door of the FRAD foundation in a make-shift box. He suffered a horrible bash to the head with a wooden pole that caused him great trauma, and also caused him to lose his eye. He was pulled from the FRAD foundation, had all the necessary medical treatment, and was rehabilitated with millions of snuggles and kisses from our founder, Maureen.
Bongo flew to New York to be with his wonderful new family on March 2, 2018. He had QUITE the difficult adventure when all planes were grounded at JFK because of a winter storm. Almost all hotels were booked and taxis were nonexistent! Together with a bunch of amazing Cartagena Paws supporters and donors, we were able to get Bongo and his flight volunteers into a hotel where they were able to be warm and safe for the night before flying to his forever home in Buffalo, NY. All of us at Cartagena Paws love you, Bongo, and wish you the best life ever with your forever family ❤️
